COIL's 2025 Performance Reflects Transition Amid Market Challenges
COIL, a leader in aluminium anodising, reported its 2025 annual results, a year defined by initial weakness and gradual recovery. Sales were €19.4 million, a decrease of 12.4% amid challenging market conditions. Despite lower revenues impacting EBITDA, which was (€1.1) million, the company achieved profitability in the latter half.
The year saw international growth, with key milestones in India and Saudi Arabia. However, no licence revenue from China was noted. A €1.3 million capital increase strengthened financials, securing operations. The company reshaped governance to implement a turnaround strategy.
Improved second-half performance, with EBITDA turning positive at €1.2 million, contrasted with a first-half loss of (€2.3) million. Operating income was (€3.3) million, while net income stood at (€4.7) million. Costs were cut, especially in management, helping mitigate gross margin declines.
Despite economic uncertainties, COIL aims to improve operations and adapt its strategy with European partners to navigate 2026 challenges, focusing on a resilient tolling model amidst geopolitical risks.
