CEWE Observes Business Growth in Q2, Reaffirms 2026 Outlook
CEWE Stiftung & Co. KGaA reported a 6.0% increase in Q2 turnover to 143.9 million euros, driven by a 7.5% rise in its core Photofinishing business. This growth aligns with their strategic plan to focus on Photofinishing, enhanced by acquiring KODAK MOMENTS Retail Photo Solutions and divesting their Commercial Online-Print (COP) division.
The company's CEWE PHOTOBOOK saw a 1.5% sales increase, reaching 1.16 million copies sold. Despite typical seasonal negative operating EBIT of -3.1 million euros, which included -3.7 million euros in acquisition costs, CEWE expects growth in annual revenue by up to 4% at 780-810 million euros.
With a commendable equity ratio of 71.2% and a stable ROCE of 16.5%, CEWE is poised for continued growth. The company's focus on its core strengths in the photo industry is clearly reflected in its strategic business adjustments and financial results.
