Cerrado Gold Reports Q2 2025 Production Results at Minera Don Nicolas Mine
Toronto-based Cerrado Gold Inc. has announced production outcomes for Q2 2025 from its Minera Don Nicolas Mine in Argentina. The mine produced 11,437 gold equivalent ounces, a slight increase from the previous quarter.
Underground development is set to boost production in the second half of 2025, with expanded crushing and agglomeration capabilities expected to enhance heap leach operations. The company retains its production target of 55,000 - 60,000 GEOs for the year.
Cerrado has embarked on a 20,000-meter exploration program at Minera Don Nicolas, targeting significant resource growth opportunities. Concurrently, development progresses at other projects like Lagoa Salgada and Mont Sorcier.
An updated feasibility study for its Mont Sorcier project is underway, while a revised Mineral Resource and Reserve Estimate for Lagoa Salgada is expected in Q3 2025.
