Celloraa Energy Partners with centrotherm for Solar Cell Production in India
On April 24, 2026, Celloraa Energy Pvt. Ltd. announced the incorporation of centrotherm's latest PECVD system, the c.PLASMA Q MAX, into their 1.2 GW TOPCon solar cell production line in Surat, Gujarat. The agreement includes six systems for polysilicon and silicon nitride deposition, marking a significant step for Celloraa's plans to commence production by early 2027, with further expansion to 2.4 GW planned thereafter.
Brijesh Gondaliya, Director of Celloraa Energy, highlighted the operational cost benefits of the c.PLASMA Q MAX, noting savings in energy, specialty gas, and utilities. Kolan Saravanan, General Manager at centrotherm India, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, emphasizing their established presence in India and the anticipated installation of this PECVD platform across multiple locations by 2027.
