CENIT AG Reports Stable Sales Amid Economic Challenges in Q1 2025
CENIT AG has announced stable sales growth in the first quarter of 2025, despite facing a challenging economic environment. The company reported sales revenues of EUR 51.5 million, reflecting a 1.9% increase compared to the same period last year. However, sales of third-party software dropped by 4.9%, while sales of CENIT's proprietary software saw a slight decline of 1.4%.
The consulting and services segment showed a robust increase, with sales climbing by 11.5% to EUR 22.1 million. Despite the rise in gross profit by 5.5% to EUR 31 million, personnel measures impacted earnings negatively, leading to a decline in EBITDA, EBITA, and EBIT compared to the previous year.
As of March 31, 2025, CENIT had 982 employees, showing a slight reduction from December 2024. The company remains optimistic, forecasting annual revenues of EUR 229-234 million and aiming for EBITA of EUR 12.4 million, excluding acquisition effects.
