Carbios First-Half 2026 Financial Results
Carbios has reported a 19% reduction in operating expenses in the first half of 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, demonstrating financial discipline. The company maintained a solid cash position of €48 million by June's end, extending operational coverage into the coming year.
Progress was noted in the financing of the Longlaville plant project, with credit committee approvals and a pending commercial agreement with a beverage industry leader enhancing pre-sales to 60% of capacity. Due diligence continues with export credit agencies and equity partners.
The period saw a net loss reduction to €9.4 million from €11.9 million in 2025, alongside a cut in cash consumption thanks to cost-reduction initiatives and investment curtailments.
A strategic partnership with Wankai advances, alongside licensing for the packaging and textiles markets, signifying growth in technological maturity and market expansion.
