Cancellation of the "Bleue Lorraine" Concession: FDE maintains its 2030 objectives
The Council of State has overturned the November 2023 decree awarding the "Bleue Lorraine" concession to Française de l'Énergie (FDE), a low-carbon energy producer. This decision, made despite favorable opinions from government agencies, concerns the Lorraine subsoil gas that FDE planned to exploit in the Moselle region. The company, disagreeing with this decision, maintains that it is protecting its interests.
This cancellation does not affect FDE's current activities, such as natural hydrogen research or the valorization of mine gas in the Hauts-de-France region. With no immediate impact on the group's results, FDE maintains its outlook for 2030, projecting revenue of €175 million, EBITDA of €85 million, and the avoidance of 20 million tons of CO₂.
