Camino Minerals Secures Over C$15 Million Through Private Placements
Camino Minerals Corporation has concluded its previously announced private placements, securing total gross proceeds of C$15,223,109. The offering was divided into a brokered private placement, raising C$5,796,000, and a non-brokered placement of unsecured convertible debentures, amounting to C$9,427,109. The brokered placement, co-led by Paradigm Capital Inc. and Raymond James Ltd., involved the issuance of 13.8 million units priced at C$0.42 each, alongside broker warrants. The convertible debentures carry a 10% annual interest and are convertible into common shares until 2031.
Funds raised will support Camino's projects in Peru, such as the Puquios Copper Project and exploration activities at the Costa de Cobre Project. Santiago Holdco, a significant shareholder advised by Denham Capital, participated as a major investor in the debentures offering. This transaction is categorized as a "related party transaction" but bypasses the full formal valuation and minority shareholder approval requirements under Multilateral Instrument 61-101.
