Camino Minerals Advances Puquios Copper Project in Chile

Camino Minerals Corp, in partnership with Nittetsu Mining Co. Ltd, has achieved a significant milestone for its Puquios copper project in Chile. The joint venture, Cuprum Resources Chile SpA, secured a USD $1.7 million bond, allowing the construction of essential water management infrastructure. This development follows the approval from Chile's Dirección General de Aguas after a technical review, confirming compliance with Chile's Water Code.

CEO Jay Chmelauskas expressed optimism, noting the bond facilitates the construction of water diversion infrastructure crucial for future Japanese financing. Marcelo Bruna, CEO of Cuprum, highlighted the importance of this authorization amidst recent heavy rainfall in the region. Repairs are underway for damaged roads, but primary infrastructure remains intact.

Camino and Nittetsu are finalizing arrangements with a Japanese financial institution to secure a debt facility to advance the project to construction. The company remains focused on its strategic goal of delivering copper solutions for a growing global market.
