VEOM Group initiates judicial reorganization proceedings
VEOM Group, a major European player in the smart home market, has filed for insolvency and requested the opening of receivership proceedings with the Montpellier Commercial Court. This decision follows the deterioration of the company's financial situation, exacerbated by the difficulties of its subsidiary Cabasse. In 2025, Cabasse contributed 29% to the group's consolidated revenue. The economic climate, marked by supply chain disruptions and cash flow problems, has led to a tightening of commercial terms from suppliers.
Faced with inadequate financing measures such as convertible bonds, negotiations to reschedule bank debts have failed, making these debts immediately due and payable. The court will have to rule on this request for judicial reorganization aimed at ensuring the company's continued operation. In the meantime, trading of VEOM Group shares is suspended on Euronext Growth, pending a resolution to preserve jobs and attract potential investors.
