VEOM Group: Half-year results for 2025 marked by a decline in activity
Smart home specialist VEOM Group saw its half-year 2025 revenue decline by 11% to €9.0 million. The Cabasse Audio division was particularly affected by slower international consumption and tensions among suppliers. However, Chacon & DIO Home remained stable despite a difficult economic environment. Gross margin stood at 41.6%, compared to 44.2% the previous year.
Adjusted EBITDA showed a loss of -€0.7 million, partially offset by cost savings. Net income, although still negative at -€1.6 million, improved slightly thanks to the absence of exceptional items. For the second half, VEOM anticipates moderate growth, dependent on inventory management policies and the effects of customs barriers.
