Burkhalter Group Expands with Strategic Acquisition

Burkhalter Group has announced the acquisition of Progressio Holding GmbH, along with its fully owned subsidiary, anplaq ag, located in Tamins. This move aligns with Burkhalter's aim to enhance its market presence, particularly in the energy and water infrastructure sectors.

Anplaq ag specializes in designing, manufacturing, and installing pipeline systems, mainly for energy, district heating, and water projects. With an annual turnover of CHF 8.5 million, the company's 30 employees will be retained, ensuring continuity in operations and expertise.

The acquisition involves a mix of cash and new Burkhalter shares, with sellers agreeing to a two-year lock-up for most shares received. This acquisition is part of Burkhalter's ongoing strategy to grow through targeted acquisitions in the building technology sector.
