BTU Metals Corp Outlines 2026 Drilling Plans
BTU Metals Corp, based in Vancouver, has shared their plans for continued exploration on their Ontario properties in 2026. Key projects include Dixie East, Hubcap, and Dixie Halo. Funding for these initiatives has been secured through recent oversubscribed financing.
The Dixie Halo Project, in collaboration with Kinross, saw 8,200 meters of drilling in 2025. Kinross aims to earn a 70% interest, having identified promising geological areas for gold mineralization.
For Dixie East, BTU plans geophysical surveys to identify potential drill targets. A permit application for drilling is anticipated soon, with activities commencing in the first half of 2026.
In Wawa, Ontario, BTU will advance the Echum and Hubcap projects. The company has identified promising shear zones and vein systems, with drill targets set for Hubcap. Drilling details will be announced once they start.
