Kinross Launches Drill Program on BTU's Dixie Halo Property

BTU Metals Corp., based in Vancouver, announces that Kinross is set to begin a two-phase drill program on BTU's Dixie Halo property in 2026. The initiative aims for Kinross to earn a 70% interest in the project by year's end. The operation will commence around February 20, 2026, with an initial 3,000-4,000 meters across eight drill holes, focusing on gold and copper mineralization in the TNT area, first discovered in 2019.

Phase Two will follow the first phase's completion and result review, with additional targeting on the western side, extending from the Great Bear property. This phase will incorporate assessments of magnetic lows and structural disruptions. Paul Wood, CEO of BTU, expresses optimism about the drilling resuming in the TNT area and potential expansions.
