BTL's EMSCULPT NEO Enhances Astronaut Training for ISS Mission

BTL has announced that its EMSCULPT NEO device was utilized in the training of Hungarian research astronaut Tibor Kapu. This development is part of a collaboration with the HUNOR program, aiming to prepare Kapu for his mission to the International Space Station. EMSCULPT NEO was integrated into his training to address muscle mass loss experienced in orbit.

Dr. Nóra Sydó from Semmelweis University stated that the technology improved muscle performance and recovery significantly. The comprehensive conditioning protocol included muscle hypertrophy, enhanced body composition, and better cardiopulmonary fitness. These results surpassed traditional training methods, benefiting not only astronauts but also athletes and patients.

Tomas Schwarz, CEO of BTL, highlighted the achievement as a testament to the societal impact of their innovations. While space training marks a significant milestone, EMSCULPT NEO's benefits are vast, serving diverse needs from elite sports to everyday care.
