BRICK AWARD 26 Celebrates Architectural Excellence in Vienna

Vienna, June 12, 2026 - The prestigious BRICK AWARD 26 ceremony in Vienna honored remarkable global architectural projects using brick and ceramic materials. Since its inception in 2004, the award has celebrated innovative designs and the timeless appeal of these materials in modern architecture.

The award, hosted biennially by Wienerberger, celebrates five categories: Feeling at home, Living together, Working together, Sharing public spaces, and Building outside the box. A Grand Prize and a Special Prize for neighborhood innovation were also awarded.

This year's Grand Prize winner, Đạo Mẫu Temple and Museum in Vietnam, designed by ARB Architects, demonstrated an integration of spiritual aesthetics with contemporary architecture. Other notable winners included projects from Spain, Mexico, and China, showcasing diverse applications of brick design.

Recognized globally, the BRICK AWARD supports architecture that combines sustainability, innovation, and aesthetics, with winning projects featured in the prestigious Brick Book.
