BRAIN Biotech AG Names Johan Jansén-Storbacka as EVP
BRAIN Biotech AG, a leader in biologization solutions, has appointed Johan Jansén-Storbacka as Executive Vice President for the BRAINBiocatalysts enzyme products division, effective September 1, 2025. He succeeds Rod Sears-Black, who retired earlier this year. During the interim, CEO Adriaan Moelker temporarily held the position.
Jansén-Storbacka brings over 20 years of biotechnology experience, with expertise in enzyme applications across various sectors. He holds an MSc in Engineering and Management alongside an MBA. As EVP, he will manage a team of 140 employees with facilities in the UK, Europe, and the US.
His appointment is expected to enhance BRAIN Biotech's strategy in the enzyme and fermentation business. CEO Adriaan Moelker praised Jansén-Storbacka's industry background and leadership skills, noting their value for the company’s diverse end markets.
