BioMérieux Reports Solid Third-Quarter 2026 Performance with Continued Growth
bioMérieux recorded an 8% organic sales growth in Q3 2026, driven by strong performances in non-respiratory panels and the SPOTFIRE® platform. Sales totaled €1,042 million for the quarter. Throughout the first nine months of 2026, sales grew 2.7% to reach €3,006 million. Notable growth was observed in BIOFIRE® non-respiratory panels (+12%) and Industrial Applications (+8%). However, BIOFIRE® respiratory panels declined by 14%, reflecting less respiratory activity compared to 2025.
CEO Pierre Boulud emphasized the contribution of strategic growth drivers and highlighted new launches, including the SPINCHIP® platform in Europe. Confirming its 2026 objectives, bioMérieux expects organic sales growth of 3-5% for the year.
