Opening of the 5th Binzhou Reading Conference

The 5th Binzhou Reading for All Conference and Reading for All Week kicked off at the Qunxing Theater in Binzhou (Shandong, China). More than 300 participants were present to inaugurate the event. The event aims to promote reading as part of the "1+1388" plan, supporting the "Binzhou, City of Books" initiative.

A promotional film and a selection of recommended books were presented. The winners of the "Knowledge Sharing Through Books" competition received their certificates. Approximately one hundred activities, such as conferences and book fairs, are planned throughout the city. This represents a step towards improving reading services.

Binzhou aspires to become a model for promoting book culture by creating modern reading spaces. The commitment continues to ensure that reading enriches the experience of citizens and becomes established in all social strata.
