'Made in Binzhou' Reaches Space with Tianzhou-10

On May 11, experimental samples from Binzhou were launched aboard China's Tianzhou-10 cargo spacecraft. The project, titled "Study on the Effect of Rotating Magnetic Field on the Solidification Process of Aluminum-based Lightweight High-entropy Alloys under Space Microgravity Conditions," marks a significant milestone. It is the first time Binzhou's private scientific community has participated in a space mission.

This collaboration involves notable institutions, including the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Binzhou Weiqiao UCAS High Technology Research Institute. The endeavor highlights China's first in-space study of lightweight high-entropy alloys solidification under dual-field conditions of microgravity and rotating magnetic fields.

Located in China's manned space station, the project underscores the integration of corporate research and national aerospace engineering. With a focus on innovation in new materials, the institute aims to propel technological advancements in China's space programs.
