Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft Reports Preliminary Q1/2026 Results
Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft has released its preliminary results for Q1/2026. The company, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, reported consolidated revenues of EUR 35.2 million, a decrease from EUR 39.0 million in Q1/2025. The consolidated EBIT dropped to EUR 0.2 million from EUR 1.2 million, while EBITDA stood at EUR 2.4 million compared to EUR 3.3 million the previous year.
CEO Oliver Schwegmann cited high stock levels due to weak consumer demand at the end of 2025 as a contributing factor. Reduced sales were especially noted in the spirits sector, with whiskey showing a sharp decline, impacting revenue and earnings in the private-label space.
Despite the slow start, the company plans various initiatives under its BERENTZEN EVOLVE 2030 strategy to enhance revenue and profitability throughout 2026. These include launching new brands and expanding into new markets and sales channels. Berentzen maintains its full-year forecast, expecting revenues between EUR 163.0 to 173.0 million and EBIT of EUR 7.0 to 9.0 million.
