Berentzen-Gruppe AG Reports Decline in Q1 2026 Profits
Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft released its preliminary financial figures for Q1 2026, showing a notable decline in profits. The company expects a consolidated operating profit (EBIT) of EUR 0.2 million, significantly down from EUR 1.2 million in Q1 2025. Additionally, the consolidated EBITDA is estimated at EUR 2.4 million, compared to EUR 3.3 million the previous year. Revenues are projected at EUR 35.2 million, a decrease from EUR 39.0 million in Q1 2025.
The decline is primarily attributed to reduced sales in the Spirits segment, driven by consumer restraint in Germany. Despite these results, Berentzen anticipates a positive turn in the second half of the year, fueled by brand and product innovations. The company maintains its 2026 forecast, expecting normalised EBIT between EUR 7.0 million and 9.0 million, and revenues between EUR 163.0 million and 173.0 million.
