Swissnet Group Strengthens Smart Environment Presence with New Agreement

On 8 May 2026, the swissnet Group announced a new framework agreement with a German manufacturer specializing in high-quality lighting technology. The agreement will see swissnet delivering advanced video and security solutions for Smart Environment and Smart Pole projects. This will be executed alongside a prominent manufacturer of video surveillance systems.

As part of the collaboration, swissnet will provide integrated camera and PTZ systems for modern smart city and video technology projects. In the initial phase, around 50 Smart Pole systems with cutting-edge video and analytics technology are planned. The rollouts for these projects have already started, with an expected project volume of approximately EUR 0.3 million for 2026.

The solutions aim to offer scalable and future-proof video surveillance and analytics capabilities, focused on intelligent analytics functions and modern Smart Environment concepts.
