Barton Gold Reveals Promising Final Assays from Tunkillia Project

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has announced significant assay results from its 'Phase 2' drilling at the Tunkillia Gold Project in South Australia. This phase involved 39,000 meters of reverse circulation drilling, yielding noteworthy high-grade intersections across several 'Starter Pits'. The assays include findings such as 62 meters at 16.75 g/t gold from 56 meters depth and 21 meters at 4.13 g/t gold from 61 meters depth. These results reinforce the project's robust central high-grade zone, essential for early economic evaluation.

The comprehensive drilling campaigns, 'Phase 1' and 'Phase 2', encompassed 57,653 meters across 520 holes. With final assays now in, Barton is poised to update its JORC Mineral Resource Estimates for gold and silver. The company anticipates completing its Preliminary Feasibility Study (PFS) by Q1 2027, facilitating a subsequent Mining Lease application. These developments underscore the potential for expanded high-grade mineralization at Tunkillia, promising economic viability for future operations.
