Barton Gold Progresses with Challenger Gold Project Feasibility Study

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has confirmed that its Central Gawler Mill (CGM) is suitable for recommissioning as part of the ongoing Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) for the Challenger Gold Project in South Australia. The company has identified the reprocessing of historical tailings from TSF1 as technically and operationally viable.

The DFS, managed by Altris Engineering since September 2025, focuses on a 3-4 year operation using higher-grade tailings and near-surface materials, avoiding disturbance to high-grade underground resources. Barton's analysis supports the feasibility of the CGM recommissioning, with various potential production and development scenarios under evaluation.

Significant assay results show promising high-grade mineralisation up to 170 g/t Au at Main open pit, and ongoing programs aim to upgrade Mineral Resources and explore new targets. The Challenger DFS remains on track for completion by late 2026, with an emphasis on reducing operational risks.
