Barton Gold Holdings Reveals High-Grade Gold Finds at Challenger Site

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has announced encouraging results from its drilling efforts at the South Australian Challenger Gold Project. Notably, assays have identified high-grade mineralization in the open pit walls and extensions. Among the significant findings is a one-meter interval grading at 170.7 g/t Au, discovered in the Challenger 'Main' open pit. These results surpass initial expectations of finding 1-2 g/t Au mineralization, suggesting potential for further discoveries.

Approximately 8,065 meters of reverse circulation drilling was conducted across several targets, including 'Challenger West' and 'Challenger South-Southwest'. Further assay results are awaited from these locations. The company is concurrently progressing with a Definitive Feasibility Study for a Stage 1 operation focused on high-grade tailings, aiming to optimize development options.

The company's Managing Director, Alexander Scanlon, notes that these findings could de-risk plans to restart operations at the Central Gawler Mill. The new discoveries adjacent to the existing infrastructure offer an ideal low-risk feed, further adding to the project's potential.
