Barton Gold Initiates Drilling to Upgrade Resources at Challenger Project

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has commenced a drilling program at its Challenger Gold Project in South Australia. The initiative follows upgrades in JORC Mineral Resources to 313,000 ounces of gold. The company aims to convert existing mineralisation into JORC ‘Indicated’ categories through up to 8,000 meters of reverse circulation drilling. This is part of a strategy to establish a Stage 1 operation by using historical tailings and near-surface materials, thus postponing the higher risks of underground operations. The Definitive Feasibility Study targets an operational restart by mid-2026, with potential financing from interested credit and investment groups. Barton's overall objective is to enhance regional development options, benefiting other projects like Tarcoola and Wudinna.
