Barton Gold Appoints Sylvia Rapo as Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has announced today the appointment of Ms. Sylvia Rapo as the new Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability. Rapo brings over 25 years of experience in corporate affairs, government relations, and sustainability. She has held significant roles in various sectors, including media, resources, and defence, strengthening her expertise in strategic communications.

Rapo's previous roles include her recent position as Executive Director at JBS&G and significant tenures at BAE Systems Australia and Beach Energy. Her experience will support Barton's goal to develop South Australia’s largest independent precious metals producer. The company aims to leverage her skills to strengthen its government and public relations as well as its sustainability strategies.

Rapo enters Barton as the company advances its projects, including the Tunkillia Gold Project, expected to generate substantial revenue for South Australia. This appointment marks a critical step towards Barton's expansion plans and the enhancement of its contributions to the local economy.
