Barton Gold Completes Drilling at Challenger Project

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has finished an 8,065m reverse circulation (RC) drilling at the Challenger Gold Project in South Australia. Conducted by Kennedy Drilling, the program targeted areas like 'Challenger Main' and 'Challenger West'. Additionally, a 1,490m diamond drilling (DD) is in progress to aid pit design and metallurgical optimisation.

This drilling marks significant progress toward the completion of a Stage 1 Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) planned for the second half of 2026. The DFS aims to validate a 'baseline' operation supporting a risk-mitigated restart of the Central Gawler Mill, enhancing flexibility in development projects like Tarcoola and Wudinna.

Alexander Scanlon, Barton's Managing Director, expressed satisfaction with the program's completion despite adverse weather conditions. Results from this drilling will be released in April and May.
