Barranco Gold Identifies Key Targets on King Property Through Soil Sampling
Barranco Gold Mining Corp. has unveiled promising results from its soil geochemistry initiative on the King Property, located 50 km south of Merritt, British Columbia. This development highlights multiple high-priority gold and copper anomalies, underscoring the property's exploration potential. The area spans 3,456 hectares, consisting of nine contiguous mineral claims.
The soil sampling project involved collecting 726 samples across Main, South, and East Grids, with rigorous analysis using ICP-MS. Findings reveal noteworthy gold anomalies exceeding 100 ppb and copper anomalies over 200 ppm, associated with regional geological structures. Notably, one sample from the Main and South Grids showed 860 ppb gold concentration.
Future steps include integrating this geochemical data with structural mapping and upcoming geophysical surveys to refine drilling targets. Barranco plans to initiate Phase 2 exploration later in 2025.
