Banyan Gold Identifies New High-Grade Domains at Powerline, AurMac Project
Banyan Gold Corp. reported significant advancements at its Powerline Deposit, part of the AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada. Recent diamond drill intersected high-grade gold mineralization to the west of the main high-grade core, indicating new expansion opportunities. This development follows the identification of new domains and a visible presence of gold in initial drill holes.
Noteworthy drill highlights include AX-26-833 with 0.79 g/t Au over 13.9 meters and AX-26-834 showing 1.38 g/t Au over 7.7 meters, among others. These results suggest potential expansion beyond the current pit boundaries, supported by an updated 3D geological model.
The findings indicate that untested areas could host additional resources, bolstered by the discovery of visible gold in regions previously showing limited mineralization. This discovery supports the potential to refine and extend known mineralized zones.
