Banyan Gold Unveils Promising Drill Results at AurMac, Yukon
Banyan Gold Corp. has announced new findings from its AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada. The project revealed significant gold concentrations in the gap between Airstrip and Powerline deposits. Drillhole AX-26-942 intersected 1.88 g/t gold over 17.9 metres, showcasing potential for high-grade mineralization nearby.
Further drilling in the Airstrip footwall unveiled exceptional results. Drillholes AX-26-729 and -730 returned values of 1.19 g/t over 12.1 m and 6.79 g/t over 3.3 m, respectively. These results were characterized by replacement-style mineralization in altered horizons.
Banyan's President, Tara Christie, emphasized their focus on boosting resource confidence and identifying high-grade targets. AurMac's first Preliminary Economic Assessment is slated for Q4 2026, aiming to gauge economic potential.
Through systematic exploration efforts, Banyan aims to expand existing resources and validate AurMac's development capabilities.
