Banyan Gold Unveils Promising Discovery at Nitra Project

Banyan Gold Corp. has announced a significant gold-silver discovery at its Seattle Creek zone within the Nitra Project, located 25 km from the AurMac Deposit. Initial drilling results highlight a new high-grade mineralized system, evidenced by assays like 5.70 g/t gold and 544 g/t silver over 0.5 meters. This discovery is part of a broader exploration program across Banyan's 830 square km land package in Yukon's Mayo Mining District, which encompasses multiple targets.

The recent results from drillhole NT-26-006 include 12.1 meters at 0.91 g/t gold and 27.01 g/t silver. CEO Tara Christie emphasized the potential for additional discoveries, aligning with Banyan's strategy of identifying new satellite deposits. The Seattle Creek findings are distinguished by visible gold in quartz veins associated with bismuth sulphosalts and arsenopyrite, which suggest potential for further expansion.

Duncan Mackay, Vice President of Exploration, noted the positive geological indicators pointing to an extensive mineralizing system. Follow-up drilling is anticipated to delineate the deposit's full potential, adding significant value to the Nitra Project's prospects.
