Banyan Gold Announces High-Grade Gold Intersections at Powerline North
Banyan Gold Corp. has reported significant gold mineralization in the northern section of its Powerline Deposit, part of the AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada. Drillhole AX-26-874 intersected 13.03 g/t gold over 14.2 meters, including a remarkable 142.70 g/t gold over 1 meter. This finding extends high-grade mineralization towards an undrilled gap between the Powerline and Airstrip Deposits, classified as unmineralized in current models.
The 2026 drill program at AurMac aims to convert resources and expand high-grade mineralized domains. President & CEO Tara Christie emphasized the potential to upgrade mineralized zones, increasing both ounces and the grade profile. The mineralization is characterized by quartz veins containing arsenopyrite, pyrite, and visible gold grains, indicating extensive high-grade deposits.
