Innoguer GmbH awarded for its biodegradable golf ball

Innoguer GmbH has won the SO! InnoPrix 2025 for its Loop golf ball, an innovation combining performance and sustainability. Based in Münchenbuchsee, the company developed this biodegradable ball in response to the global problem of plastic waste caused by lost golf balls. Every year, nearly one billion of these balls generate approximately 46,000 tons of waste. The Loop ball, made of non-toxic biopolymers, leaves no environmental residue after use. Commercialization is planned for 2027, with an initial rollout in Switzerland before expanding internationally.
