Aztec Minerals Strengthens Technical Management Team

On October 30, 2026, Aztec Minerals Corp., listed on TSXV and OTCQB, announced strategic appointments to its technical management team. Curtis Ferron, with nearly a decade of experience in mineral exploration across various commodities, has been appointed as Vice President, Technical Services. Ivan Valencia, a seasoned geologist with over 19 years of experience in the US and Mexico, has been promoted to Exploration Manager. These changes are effective from November 1, 2026.

Mr. Ferron will lead resource estimation and economic studies at Aztec’s Tombstone Project in Arizona, and oversee technical aspects of the Cervantes Project in Mexico. Mr. Valencia will manage the planning and execution of exploration programs under Mr. Ferron's supervision. Aztec CEO Simon Dyakowski emphasized the critical nature of these appointments as the company progresses toward a maiden mineral resource estimate for the Tombstone Project.
