Aztec Minerals Expands Gold-Silver Zone at Tombstone Project
Aztec Minerals Corp. has extended its oxide gold-silver zone by over 1 km at the Tombstone Project in Arizona through successful step-out drilling. This significant expansion is a result of strong drill results from the southern portion of the Contention Target Area. Specifically, drill hole TR25-31 intersected 44.1 meters averaging 158.97 gpt AgEq, including a high-grade segment of 3.04 meters averaging 990.78 gpt AgEq.
The current drilling program has completed 48 drill holes, with 15 more pending. Aztec's findings indicate a broader mineralization zone than previously demonstrated, with notable results also from holes TR25-27 and TR25-28. These accomplishments confirm the continuity of mineralization to the west, south, and at depth.
The success of this program supports Aztec’s model for potential expansion and suggests the presence of additional targets within the area, which remain under evaluation as drilling continues.
