Axo Metals Reports Promising Drilling Results at Luz del Cobre Target
Axo Metals Corp. has released new drilling results from its San Antonio project in Sonora, Mexico. The focus was the recently discovered Luz del Cobre target. Highlights include a 48.0-metre intercept grading 1.18 g/t Au from surface, and a 15.0-metre intercept grading 3.94 g/t Au from just 12 metres down. These results suggest strong mineralization, supporting resource expansion efforts.
The Luz del Cobre target is strategically located 750 metres east of the Sapuchi resource. Initial drilling revealed a mineralized strike length of at least 450 metres within the Luz del Cobre-Sapuchi gap. The site's proximity to existing infrastructure makes it a potential early mining option.
Overall, Axo Metals continues to focus on resource expansion, using three diamond drill rigs. The company is also investigating gold potential in historical waste dumps, aiming to boost resource growth at San Antonio.
