Axo Metals Reports Promising Drill Results at San Antonio Project

Axo Metals Corp. has announced significant drill results from its San Antonio project in Sonora, Mexico. The results mark the first major step-out drilling outside the resource area. The drilling program includes 29 holes, covering around 5,000 metres. Notable results include hole SOSAP-26-048, which reported 46.5 metres of 1.43 g/t Au from surface, found 750 metres east of the Sapuchi resource at the Luz del Cobre target.

Drilling within the Sapuchi deposit also revealed strong results, with hole SOSAP-26-039 assaying 8.15 g/t Au over 18 metres from just 18 metres depth. Other highlights include holes SOSAP-26-027 and SOSAP-26-025, which showed potential to upgrade resource confidence and convert waste areas within the block model.

Axo continues to explore the Luz del Cobre area, with encouraging preliminary results. The company claims that the area experienced separate gold and copper mineralization events. A key focus remains on the gap zone between Luz del Cobre and Sapuchi. Future assays are awaited to confirm the potential for resource growth.
