Avenir Telecom to see revenue decline in 2024-2025
On May 22, 2025, Avenir Telecom announced revenue of €11 million for the 2024-2025 fiscal year, down from €14.1 million the previous year. The company refocused on the EMEA region but was affected by external events. Chinese manufacturers lowered smartphone prices, and Google removed WhatsApp from KaiOS, reducing the attractiveness of these products.
Sales in Asia Oceania have stopped, and activity in EMEA has declined. Avenir Telecom has maintained a positive operating profit thanks to rigorous cost management, despite a significant decline in its profitability.
Despite these challenges, the company is moving into new areas, notably with the sale of laptops through Amazon. Management remains optimistic about the future after a particularly difficult year.
