ATHA Energy Secures $20 Million Financing for Uranium Project
ATHA Energy Corp has announced a $20 million private placement financing through Queen's Road Capital Investment Ltd. This financing involves unsecured convertible debentures and includes an option for QRC to purchase an additional $20 million in debentures. The funds are earmarked for the exploration of the Angilak Uranium Project in Nunavut, Canada.
The debentures offer a 12% annual interest rate, partially payable in shares. QRC's involvement signifies confidence in ATHA's exploration efforts, particularly following significant uranium discoveries at the Angikuni Basin. ATHA's CEO noted QRC's history of early investment in high-value uranium projects as a positive endorsement. The offering is subject to standard regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
