Atari Completes Loan Conversion into Equity
Atari has finalized a refinancing move by converting €12.6 million of loans into equity. The loans, initially provided by IRATA LLC, chaired by Wade Rosen, along with other private partners, have led to the issuance of 528,649 new ordinary shares at €24.00 per share. This reflects a 22% premium over Atari's share price of €19.65 as of September 16, 2026.
Through this transaction, IRATA LLC strengthens its control, now holding 48.8% of Atari's share capital. The conversion involved principal and interest from loans dated between February and May 2026. Completion of this process is expected shortly.
Post-conversion, Atari will see a revised share capital distribution, showcasing a minor decrease in public shareholder percentage. This financial restructuring aims to bolster Atari's economic stability and growth prospects in the gaming industry.
