Geophysical Survey Identifies Key Copper Targets at Storm Project
Aston Bay Holdings Ltd. and American West Metals have unveiled significant copper exploration targets at the Storm Project in Nunavut, Canada. The final results of the Mobile MagnetoTellurics (MMT) survey confirm multiple large-scale copper targets. Notably, a substantial conductive anomaly has been identified north of the Cyclone Deposit, extending over 16km and located roughly 200m deep.
Additionally, other stratiform anomalies have been detected at average depths of 400m, potentially indicating deeper copper horizons. Further, discordant conductive trends in the Midway and Tornado/Blizzard areas suggest promising copper mineralization potential, supported by geological sampling.
Progress continues on mine permitting and economic studies, essential for advancing towards potential mining operations. The joint venture with American West allows Aston Bay to maintain a free carried interest until a mining decision is made post-feasibility study completion.
