Arverne Group applies geothermal energy in a new EHPAD
On June 30, 2025, in Pau, Arverne Group announced the installation of geothermal systems in the Saint-Vit nursing home, managed by Mutualité Française Comtoise. Equipped with 18 probes, the facility will cover its annual heating and cooling needs, reducing its CO₂ emissions by 38 tons per year compared to a gas-fired solution. This initiative was presented during a visit on June 6 with MP Laurent Croizier and Mayor Pascal Routhier.
Geothermal energy is presented as a sustainable solution to rising energy costs and environmental demands. Already used in other facilities, this solution provides comfort and savings, illustrating Arverne Group's commitment to the energy transition in the healthcare and social sector.
