Artnet AG Half-Year 2025 Results Indicate Stabilization
Berlin, August 20, 2025 – Artnet AG has released its financial results for the first half of 2025, reporting mixed outcomes in a challenging market. Revenues fell by 12% to EUR 9.84 million, with operating earnings at –EUR 1.3 million, compared to –EUR 0.73 million in the same period last year. Despite these challenges, operating cash flow increased significantly to EUR 1.30 million.
The marketplace segment remained relatively stable with revenues of EUR 3.90 million, a slight decline of 2.8%. The private sales sector thrived, with a remarkable rise of 78%, featuring significant auction sales. The data segment faced a 10% decline but technical issues were resolved. The media segment saw a 24% drop; however, Artnet News continues to command significant global readership.
Strategic progress includes technology advancements and a transition to Stripe's payment system. Artnet foresees annual revenues of EUR 20-24 million and an approximate operating loss of –EUR 1.3 million. Additionally, Leonardo Art Holdings GmbH's takeover bids reflect significant shareholder movements.
