Ørsted Completes Rights Issue and Boosts Business Execution

Ørsted A/S has announced significant progress in its business operations for the first nine months of 2025. Key developments include the completion of a rights issue and the divestment of a 50% equity stake in the Hornsea 3 Offshore Wind Farm in the UK. These steps have strengthened Ørsted's capital structure amid solid operational performance.

The company's CEO, Rasmus Errboe, emphasized the achievements in the construction portfolio and financial stability. While wind speeds were lower, energy generation rose by 8% compared to Q3 2024, thanks to higher availability rates and increased output from Gode Wind 3 in Germany.

Ørsted maintained its full-year EBITDA guidance and reported operating profit (EBITDA) of DKK 18.6 billion for the first nine months, despite a decrease from the previous year largely due to non-repeated reversal of cancellation fees. The company also reported a profit of DKK 6.5 billion, bolstered by higher availability rates.
