Armacell Expands Aerogel Insulation Production in India
Armacell, a leader in flexible foam for equipment insulation, has inaugurated a new aerogel insulation plant in Pune, India. This facility will manufacture the ArmaGel® XG product line, marking a major step in the company's global expansion. The plant doubles Armacell’s manufacturing capacity to meet rising demand for aerogel-based solutions.
The Pune facility will produce ArmaGel XGH and XGC blankets. ArmaGel XGH is designed for temperatures up to +650°C, while ArmaGel XGC is suitable for conditions between -196°C and +250°C. Both products comply with relevant ASTM standards, ensuring high performance.
Laurent Musy, Armacell's President, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovative energy efficiency solutions, reducing energy consumption and extending equipment life. This strategic investment aligns with Armacell’s goal of setting new industry benchmarks, particularly in industrial and energy segments.
