Armacell Announces Ambitious Climate Action Plan

Armacell, known for its expertise in flexible foam for equipment insulation, has unveiled a robust climate action plan. The company is committed to decreasing Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 63% by 2035, using 2024 as the baseline. Additionally, they aim for a 30% reduction in Scope 3 emissions during the same period. The strategy aligns with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5°C trajectory.

Armacell's focus is on creating products that contribute to decarbonization and enhance energy efficiency. The roadmap includes increased material efficiency and more sustainable material usage, alongside engaging suppliers in the process. The initiative emphasizes Armacell's role in both reducing and avoiding harmful emissions.

According to Laurent Musy, Armacell's President and CEO, the company is proud to set specific emission-reduction targets, contributing significantly to climate solutions and showcasing responsible manufacturing practices.
