Apex Critical Metals Corp. Discovers New Carbonatite at Lac Le Moyne Project

Apex Critical Metals Corp. has announced the discovery of a new carbonatite occurrence at its Lac Le Moyne Project in Nunavik, Québec. This marks the first targeted exploration for carbonatite-hosted niobium and rare earth elements at the site. Of the 151 rock samples collected, significant results included niobium oxide values up to 0.40% and rare earth oxides peaking at 0.50%.

The discovery, positioned north of the Eldor Carbonatite Complex, suggests potential for additional finds in the area. CEO Sean Charland emphasized the rarity of carbonatite systems worldwide and the significance of this finding. Apex has staked 77 additional claims, covering 3,609 hectares, to explore further opportunities based on these results.

This summer's program was completed in July 2025 and involved a helicopter-supported operation. The elevated samples indicate potential for a buried carbonatite source, underscoring the need for continued exploration. The project's expansion aligns with plans for the 2026 field season.
