Apex Critical Metals Commences Drilling at Nebraska's Rift Project
Apex Critical Metals Corp., a Canadian exploration firm, has initiated its first drilling program at the Rift Rare Earth Project in Nebraska, U.S.A. The project, situated within the Elk Creek Carbonatite Complex, marks a significant step for Apex in exploring rare earth mineralization. The initial drill rig has reached the site, with setup and logistical preparations currently underway.
This first phase aims to confirm previously identified rare earth mineralization over 850 meters. The company's CEO, Sean Charland, emphasizes the project's potential to advance the company's mineral resources. Apex aims to enhance its understanding of the site's mineral potential using geophysical and geochemical data. A second drill rig is anticipated to join the operation soon.
Additionally, the company granted 750,000 restricted share units to a director, aligning with its equity incentive plan. These RSUs will vest over 24 months, offering rights to common shares.
